QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced a financial assistance package for the Christian community before Christmas next week.

The Department of Minority Affairs issued an official notification confirming the decision.

Based on a request from Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs Sanjay Kumar, CM Bugti has approved financial aid for 1,000 underprivileged Christian families.

The chief minister emphasised that the provincial government prioritises addressing the challenges faced by minorities and ensuring their welfare.
